Still playing catch up....
The best thing about February was a visit from Dustin's sister and her family! It was so wonderful to have Shawn, Melissa, Gillian, and Audrie out for a visit!
Thankfully most of the giant snow storm waited to fall until after they arrived. But once it came down hard, the kids sure had a great time playing in it and getting sled rides up and down the street!
It was so fun to see them all playing in the snow together!
We also had fun just playing inside, flying Jack's helicopter that he got for Christmas (Uncle Shawn was a pro!), playing Just Dance, going to a UW basketball game, and painting our fingernails.
Seriously, aren't these Enslinger Grandkiddos cute! :) And the main reason, and an AWESOME one, that the Minge's came out was because they had bought us tickets to the Monster Jam truck show in Denver!! My boys were SOOOO excited! It really was awesome! Some of Jack's favorites, especially Gravedigger were there! Here are some highlights. Please note the expressions of awe and pure joy and excitement on my boys's faces:
Having so much fun...Zander was scared of the big metal thing that ate cars and blew smoke! We were so close we could feel its heat!
GRAVEDIGGER!!
It was such a cool show. Our seats were amazing. And Aunt Melissa even bought the boys new Monster Truck shirts. See Jack in the bottom left happily modeling the Gravedigger one!
This boy was in heaven!
Here are a few more highlights from February: Making sugar cookies, getting a Valentine's package from Grandma Hansen, more road sledding and playing in the snow, swimming at the rec center and the boys discovering they fit inside the lockers there! I love how Jack is king of the hill!
My little fish (with blue lips because he doesn't have enough body fat to stay warm!!)Jack playing "Doctor" with Zander. I love when they play so well together!
More Doctor....but with actual tools to fix each other!
Zander helping me make Pigs in a Blanket. I had to include this picture because I thought it was funny! I left the room for a second and came back and he had placed a goldfish right in the middle of each roll! What a helper! :)
