Our First Blog Post!!

We have enjoyed viewing many of the blogs of family and friends, so we too have decided to enter the blogging world. We think this will be a great way to keep in touch with friends and family and to post pictures of our soon to be new arrival! What a fun way to document our lives, our adventures in parenthood, and our growing family! We hope that all of our friends and family (especially Dustin's friends and family clear out in Kansas) will be able to enjoy looking at and receiving updates on our blog site! Plus, hopefully one day we can turn our blog into a book and have these memories with us forever!

Here are some pictures showing our entry into expectant parents and my crazy growth!

This positive pregnancy test picture was actually taken in September 2006.  We unfortunately found out that I had miscarried about 1 month later. What an emotional roller coaster! We were SO excited to be pregnant, went in for our firs appointment to hear the baby's heat beat at about 12 weeks, and they couldn't find one. We were devastated. I had to have a D&C a couple days later. Thankfully my mom was able to come up and be with me.  What a horrible experience.
After waiting a couple months, we were able to try to get pregnant again. Thankfully we found out in February of 2007 that we were expecting again!!
Here we are at Lisa's wedding in May, so I am about 3 1/2 months along!
This is my cousin Ashley and I, obviously both pregnant at the end of June.  I am almost 5 months along!
Dustin very excited about our ambiguous gender baby purchases. He refused to find out the gender of our baby!
Beginning of July - 5 months along! :)
August  6 months along! Seriously, did I not get huge so fast?
More pictures from in August! 6 months along!
Pictures from the baby shower my family threw me at the end of September (7 months along!)
A day after my 25th birthday!

Middle of October - 8 months!
Halloween! I was a giant round pumpkin! :)  About 2 weeks from my due date!
Sorry for the skin shots, but I just wanted to remember how incredibly huge I was, and how weird my tummy looked, and how I went STRAIGHT OUT!
My last pregnant picture taken. This was taken 3 days before Jack was born.  I had a C-section scheduled for about a week and half away. Little did I know I would go into labor before that....

More on the birth story to come...
